Interviewer instructions
As with MA1, we are interested in formal marriages. If a woman was married and then was widowed or divorced, from her husband or partner and is now married, record 'More than once'. If a woman is not currently married but was previously married two or more times, record 'More than once' by circling '2'. If she has married only once, circle '1.' Note that the question refers to periods If a woman was married to a man and divorced him, and then married the same person again, she should be considered as having married 'More than once'.
